What Politico Fears
What Politico — and other campaign-obsessed outlets — fear are the narratives that expose much of their work as simple distractions. What they fear, I think, is political science.
That is Ezra Klein. His entire post is worth reading. He saved me from writing nearly the same thing.

Agreed: it’s a really good post. His take on Jake Weisberg’s (pretty good) column about Obama was excellent, also. And he and Jon Cohn have been just terrific blogging and reporting on health care reform.
Good post — we should be as quick to promote good reporters as we are to bash the bad ones.
