Life lessons from Bijou (and Gooseberry, too)

Here’s a story that touched me from today’s New York Times. The author is a cancer patient who has an elderly dog in very poor health (pictured above). Let’s just say that I have a 19 year-old blind cat, the inimitable Gooseberry.
