Samuel Huntington Dies
Samuel Huntington, political scientist and Harvard professor, died on Wednesday. He taught at Harvard for 58 years and was the author, co-author, or editor of 17 books and 90 scholarly articles. maybe the author of the most famous first line in any polisci book? (i.e. “The most important political distinction among countries concerns not their form of government but their degree of government.”)
