Too many blogs

What should I do? I post at Monkey Cage to be part of this fun community, I post at Red State, Blue State to continue to make people aware of the book and also because people have been going there for election analyses, and I post at Statistical Modeling for all sorts of things. But it’s killing me to be posting in three places.

Blogging two places seems doable. And since your Red State, Blue State blog is probably temporary you could just temporarily stop blogging here, then come back afterwards.

Another option is to simply crosspost, thus enabling you to continue blogging at all three without being expected to come up with new ideas for each.

crossposts sounds reasonable. In any case, for the political science community at least I regard your statistical modelling blog as the most valuable, so whatever you do please keep that one alive.

I’ve noticed you’ve tried to tailor your crossposts to the audience of each blog. But I think they’re largely the same, so you might save some time by not doing so. Either way, it’s all great stuff and I think all three are valuable in their own ways.

Cross-post, and don’t worry about reader demographics. Either that, or cut back, which isn’t so easy or fun, if you really like it.

OK, I followed your suggestions and am now cross-posting. But now I’m worried that I’m flooding these blogs with so much information that old posts will not be noticed. For example, I don’t want people to miss my review of the Carlin and Louis book on the Statistical Modeling blog.
